New Pop-up Event Channel

Hi virtual reality gaymers!

Today we're introducing a new series of events to VRDancing: #pop-ups!

In this channel you'll find more spontaneous events hosted by our team! These will be announced on short notice, possibly even as they start. And these events will not necessarily be recurring and will be more experimental!

But most importantly, we'll provide more opportunities to dance and we'll be able to experiment a bit more with different types of events! Sometimes we'll even host events in collaboration with community members!

If you are interested in Pop-up events then be sure to give yourself the ping over at #channels&roles!

Note that the ping that was previously called *Dance Events* has been converted to the new Pop-up ping! So you may already have it.

In the past we experimented with the #community-spotlight channel, unfortunately this did not work, but we're ready to continue on experimenting with this new format. So expect brand new cool events in a variety of timezones in the coming week!
