Video Previews! Yipeee! Another feature that's been requested for a looong time!

You can now load and check out a video right in the database before adding it to the queue!

- Added video previews! On the right of the database where the thumbnail is displayed you can now see a preview of the selected video!

- There's a progress bar so you can skip to any point in the video.

- You can mute/unmute the video.

- While the preview is playing you can hit a button to display the thumbnail.

- Keep in mind that due to VRChat limitations it can take a few seconds to load the preview but overall its pretty fast!

- By default, previews will load automatically whenever possible. If you'd rather manually press a button to load the preview then you can set this in the options menu under the Media Playback category.

- If you have the previews set to manual then a "Load Preview" button will appear on the video thumbnail. This makes the feature more lightweight for people with a bad internet connection or low VRAM.

- Currently previews autoskip 30 seconds ahead, in a future update previews will autoskip ahead to the most relevant part of the video.

- Rearranged some UI elements, the thumbnail display is now larger.

- Added new staff member credits! Welcome @awkwardscone and @flowerderg!

@ao554 and @silentt. have been very hard at work on our CDN! :poi_bless:

We now have a completely new server to choose from in-world called VRD-CDN-LQ.

- The server streams more optimised video so they should load much faster! This should be helpful for people in Asia-Pacific and people with a slower internet connection :Dance~1:

- You can choose your server in the *Video Playback* section of the options menu, or at the top left of the database with the *Switch Server* button!

- The instance master can set the instance default server in the admin menu!

- The LQ CDN also uses a completely new back-end that should be way faster due to popular videos being cached! Shoutout @ao554 for setting up all the back-end tech for this :poi_bless:

- Added a new contrast setting in the Video Screen category for additional accessibility.

- This can help for individuals with photosensitive epilepsy, especially when setting both the brightness and the contrast low.

- Increasing contrast can potentially help with readability for colourblind individuals.

- Moved the voteskip UI so it doesn't block the queue and tag menu anymore. (ty for the report @5six8!)

- Fixed some UI elements overlapping in the database menu.

- The follow camera will now attempt to focus on the person that picked the video thats currently playing. This is limited, if someone queues a lot of songs it will not constantly focus the camera on them.

- Fixed some emotes not parsing correctly in Twitch Chat.

Heyaaaa!

I made a stream overlay in-unity for our streams. We used to have our overlay in OBS, but its now moved to be in-world so we can incorporate more features! Sooo be sure to check in on our streams/recordings as they'll be much more fancy yayyyy!

- Added a completely new in-world stream overlay!

- Added a feed of the videoplayer that always displays in a corner on the stream, also permanently shows the name of the video.

- Added a video progress bar to the stream overlay.

- When a staff member uses the announcement radio they'll now also automatically have a small video feed of their avatar displayed on-stream.

- When the handheld is pointed at the staff member thats announcing then their personal video feed is automatically hidden.

- Added several notifications that periodically show on stream:

- Added notifications to the stream overlay that display which video was played, by whom, its code and its tags.

- A notification with instructions on how to join VRD.

- A notification that displays the announcement that also shows on the mirror in the changing room.

- A notification that shows the banner and name of the current event.

- An overhauled break timer notification

- Added notifications to the stream overlay that display which video was played, by whom, its code and its tags.

- Small notifications with info about our socials, discord and website.

- The tags submenu can now be open simultaneously with the options and camera submenus.

Woahhhh! This is a big one gaymers! This update tackles some of the most requested features with tons of QoL accessible right from the dancefloor with the new :sparkles: **Quick Menu** :sparkles:

- Added a new Quick Menu thats accessible on the dancefloor! It follows you around as you move around on the dancefloor, it can easily be toggled on/off with customiseable keybinds!

- Easily assign your personal tags to the song thats currently playing while you're still on the dancefloor.

- Directly access and copy the URL of the video thats currently playing.

- Checkout whats in the queue.

- Play the next video to easily skip outros or start a voteskip right from the dancefloor.

- You can also access the full options menu from the quick menu.

- You can also setup your personal camera with full access to the camera menu, including a preview of what the camera looks like.

- Aaand you can also reload the video right from the quick menu.

- The Twitch chat is now part of the new menu.

- The first 3 times you join the world in VR a tutorial will be displayed on how to activate/deactivate the Quick Menu.

- Added new settings in the options menu to configure your Quick Menu.

- By default the quick menu is opened by pushing your right joystick up and closed by pushing your right joystick down.

- You can setup shortcuts for opening and closing the menu, your options are: right joystick up, right joystick down, press both triggers, the jump button.

- The shortcut list and the tutorials update depending on what shortcuts you have selected.

- Completely disable it, permanently enable it or make it toggleable.

- For desktop users the quick menu will always automatically enable on the dancefloor since most keybinds dont work.

- The queue preview now shows an **estimated** queue duration! You can see this both at the DB and from the Quick Menu @Ping - World Updates

- Note that if someone queue's URLs that are way longer than average (6+ minutes) that the estimation will be off, hence: **estimated queue duration**

- Added new "Camera System Focus" setting, by default our camera system will focus on you every once in a while when you're dancing.

- You can now set this to "Ignore Me" if you prefer to be shown less frequently on streams and on recordings.

- If you toggle this then other people will also no longer be able to select you as a target in their local FollowCam setups.

- You will also no longer show up when using the AutoCycle feature on the FollowCam.
