GENERAL RULES
1. Use your VRChat username as Discord server nickname.
2. Use appropriate behaviour in our Discord and community events. This is not an 18+ community.
3. No hate speech. We have zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia and sexism.
4. No harassment, doxxing or disclosing personal details.
5. No NSFW content, gore, nudity, spamming, drama, politics or religion.
6. Keep the chat in English.
7. Keep self-promotion VRDancing or dancing related.
8. We have zero tolerance for content ripping or violating the TOS of creators.
9. Do not use our community to DM individuals to sell a product or service.
10. Do not use media or individuals within VRDancing for (generative) AI purposes without explicit consent.
11. Staff discretion always applies.
EVENT RULES
These are rules that generally apply during our events in VRChat.
12. Use a poor or better avatar during events.
13. Use appropiate avatars at our events. This is not an 18+ community.
14. Keep your behaviour compliant to VRChat's Terms of Service & Twitch Community Guidelines, and be aware that our events are streamed.
15. Speak English at our events.
16. Do not mute all voices or mute/block the host. If you wish to limit voices, use Earmuff Mode instead so that you can still hear announcements.
17. No disruptive avatar sounds.
18. Do not use any persistent chatbox tools.
19. Staff discretion always applies.
VRDancing is a space without comparison and competition. A place promoting physical activity for both mental and physical health, where people can feel welcome.
When joining us on the dancefloor we expect you to respect and support your fellow dancers no matter where they are at in their journey.
Consent is important. If someone asks you to stop an interaction with them, refrain from continuing.
A lot of our events are live streamed and recorded, we expect you to be aware of this when joining us on the dancefloor.
Be aware of what you share when speaking publicly and follow Twitch TOS.
You are permitted to stream on your own individual channel as long as you adhere to our rules and don't disrupt our event.
During our fundraisers we request that you refer to the VRDancing Twitch for people to donate.
Dancing in VR is incredibly fun but your health and safety are the most important!
At VRDancing we request of you to always take good care of yourself when participating in any of our events or using our dance studio. We strongly recommend that you consult with your physician before beginning any exercise program.
