We are going all-in this week to make Friday's release as solid as possible!

- Added another clock and TV upstairs.

- @Chatmans Added repairbuttons throughout the lounge area.

- @Chatmans Added flooring to the upstairs area and lots of small adjustments.

- Added a UI repair button to the database UI.

- Lots of subtle improvements to the database UI to make it feel more snappy.

- Merged taggroups for "Youtube Channels" and "Games" into one single group called "Instructors" meaning you can now (OR) filter on for example Marshall and JustDance simultaneously.

- Added a new taggroup called "Difficulty" for the Tutorial, Compilation, Technical and Extreme tags.

- Converted some of the database UI to use TextMeshPro so its up to standard with our other newer UIs (looks better + better performance)

- Fixed a bug where the DoNotMirror tag did not work correctly.

- Fixed a bug where the owner of a Custom URL would sometimes display a wrong username.

- Lowered render resolution for TVs to hopefully improve performance a bit.

- Updated the DB!

Lots of small fixes for our release on Friday! Hope to see you all there!

- Mirror setting now affects all mirrors in the world.

- Added 2D mirrors.

- Updated physical buttons prefab and reverted foot/butt colliders, lets hope this makes it more stable.

This is a pretty big update as we polish the last things in the world such that we can release the world publicly!

- Options menu completely overhauled, it has a new look, should be more self-explanatory. But a lot of the design is still WIP.

- Added a TV that can display several cameras on the dancefloor or the videoplayer itself.

- The TV rotates towards the player based on where you are sitting in the lounge area.

- @Chatmans Added a lot of foliage, another couch, rugs, started on the outside area and lots more!

- All of my patrons have been allowed to write on the bench in the changing room!

- Changelogs can now be viewed in the world.

- Added icons to the tags in the DB made by @Yinagi!

- Instance master now has access to admin panel.

- Room size now adjusts automatically based on playercount (can be overriden by staff/master)

- There's a hottub to cater to the new hottub meta on Twitch!

- Reworked the entire back-end of the options menu and global admin settings. Should now be more futureproof.

Small update with some quick fixes.

- @Chatmans spent a lot of time reworking the way in which we use prefabs, we ran into some technical issues as the lobby became more complex but we learned and now its more stable.

- The DB has been updated (3583 entries) we have a lot of videos from Matt Steffanina now thanks to @MidnightEclipse!

- We also started with AI upscaling a few old videos thanks to @Obaid! The results look amazing, definitely check out "Pump It" and "Let's Get It Started" from Just Dance.

- Fixed a bug where you could not jump to "P" in the list with the alphabet buttons.

- KNOWN ISSUE: XP button is enabled by default and has to be toggled on and off for anyone that joins in order to hide it again. Will be fixed before next session but not a huge issue. Unfortunately only staff can toggle this so others will just have to dance with the button lol.

Heya! I added better sound effects to the database, polished the UI in general and added the first community panel.

- Added new sound effects to the UI, their volume might need to be tweaked a bit.

- Added a new community info panel with an invite to the discord server.

- Added a DoNotMirror tag, used such that some VRDancing videos aren't incorrectly mirrored.

- Added additional hover events to some UI elements such that it feels more responsive.

- Fixed incorrect overlap for some hover events.

- Added warning for kids tag.

- Updated the DB, thanks to @Silvan we now have all Just Dance 3 Player videos. With more work from @MidnightEclipse and @TheeSpankEngine we are now at 3269 entries!

Hej! Just some small fixes based on feedback from yesterday.

- Added missing TML Crew tag.

- Hover events for "Play" and "Info" buttons now always render on top instead of behind other list items.

- Added a hover event for the large "Play" button so it feels more responsive.

- The videoplayer now always returns to the exact center instead of remaining slightly offset when you leave the dancefloor.

- Made the videoplayer following deadzone a bit larger.

- Fixed a bug where Eizzi's shirt would not be rendered.

- Expanded activation range for the fire.

- Added a warning when a CopyrightClaimed dance is selected.

- Added explanation to the URL copy field in video selection.

- Adjusted colour of the video title that is displayed above the videoplayer.

BETA v19

Hi all! I am super excited to finally launch this update, a lot of effort went into this one so I hope you all enjoy it! It features some big reworks so please bear with me if any issues occur.

- Completely reworked and redesigned database menu. It is more responsive and user-friendly.

- Reworked back-end database code to use object pooling: way better performance + no lag when you walk to the databasemenu.

- Reworked tag filtering system: tags are now categorised into groups, its easier to find the right filters and filters can now be combined more intuitively.

- Groups of tags can be collapsed, if some category of tags is irrelevent to you then you can hide them.

- Added a hover event for the UI, some UI elements respond to hovering the laser pointer over them to make everything more responsive.

- Reworked the selected dance panel: info about dances is displayed more clearly and warnings are displayed dances that are long/require material/are difficult.

- @Chatmans worked on the new lobby area: there is a new hangout area with a mirror and fireplace, a desk and community info. Info panels are added later.

- @Chatmans added a new very simple DanceFloor called "NullPointer" where you are essentially dancing in space. Staff members can toggle this environment.

- Fixed a bug where the lines on the dancefloor would only appear after an environment switch.

- Potential fix for player list system crashing.

- Potential fix for physical button interaction system crashing.

- Song title will no longer mirror when on the dancefloor while in RecordingMode.

- Reworked some of our custom Unity tools that make baking lighting and importing the database much quicker.

- 1000?! Additional database entries! This is truly insane to me! We are now at 3184 entries! The team has been doing an amazing job.

- Big thanks to @MidnightEclipse @Chatmans @TheeSpankEngine for their continued effort on adding the best from FishDance, Kinjaz and much more!

- Rebaked occlusion culling, adjusted occlusion flags and materials all as potential fixes to performance issues.

We are currently having some performance issues in the world. It can help to ensure that you have activated the database UI at least once by walking towards it. I know what the issue is and will try to fix it before the next session.

- @Chatmans made two new dancefloors (small and large) for the world, which will now be the new default. They are in the same style as the new spectatorrooms.

- Reworked admin panel to be more user friendly.

- Added the option in the admin panel to switch to the old dancefloors, using the "Performance Room" toggle.

- Updated the DB, now at 2178 entries. @Felky continued on 1P Just Dance and @MidnightEclipse added videos from the FitDanceSWAG channel.

- Reworked spectator room by @Chatmans he's doing an amazing job!

- Added a "Recorder Mode" to options which disables occlusion culling optimisation that I activate for people on the dancefloor, it allows you to still use a camera behind the mirror while dancing. Note that you will get worse performance with this activated.

- Added physical buttons for the repair function (doesn't react to feet tracking *yet*)

- Updated DB, now at 1701 videos!! Thanks so much to @Felky for continued work on 1P Just Dance and @MidnightEclipse for adding everything from "The Black Eyed Peas Experience" & "The Hip Hop Dance Experience"

- Updated the dressing room with @Chatmans improvements, this room is now finished.

- Adjusted videoplayer parameters which hopefully makes it more stable with the recent VRC update.

- Added dynamic occlusion to the entire world, and nothing is rendered besides the dancefloor when you are on the dancefloor.

- Note that some pop-in may happen, please report that to me with a screenshot and location if possible.

- Updated the database, we are now at 1374 videos thanks to @Felky working on 1P Just Dance.

UPDATE #5

Hi! I published a small update and felt like documenting the changes for the past weeks!

This update:

- Everyone can now checkout the new changing room, @Chatmans has been doing a lot of work on lighting and textures.

- There are a lot of backend improvements to better support environment changes in the future.

- We now reached 1300+ videos!

- Mirror selection and repair buttons have been enabled again.

- The repair button is very WIP but I want people to try it out, it might restart videos when it attempts to repair.

- I recommend browsing the "Kids" category for some proper nightmare fuel.

- Loooots of tiny bugfixes

Past changes that I had not documented in this channel yet:

- Added a system for tracking players in the world.

- Added a whitelist system for staff members.

- Added an admin panel with controls for events: options for this will be expanded in the future

- @Chatmans switched to bakery for lighting, which has yielded waaay better results.

- Added two environments, a smaller and a larger room for events.

- The videoplayer now follows the players position to allow someone to dance anywhere on the dancefloor without straining their neck.

- Added experimental motion recording system that will be used to display cool holograms of dancers at some point

PS. We know filesize is increasing, we are going to improve on this at some point but doing compression is not a priority during development.
