- Added a photo gallery!
- The screen that used to display a few group picture now displays a huge gallery of over 700 pictures made by the community!
- This is all synced so everyone sees the same pictures.
- Pictures are downloaded dynamically as you stand close to the display, nothing is downloaded if you're not actually looking at the display.
- Untrusted URLs need to be allowed as for almost everything in this world.
- Added a warning when playing a custom URL that is already in the database. It will display on the info panel on the right side of the database. Includes the code of the database entry so you can quickly find it.
- Added a warning when playing a database entry or URL that was already played in that instance. Just in case you don't wanna hear the hellish screams from other dancers that they already danced to that video.

Heyaa! The latest VRChat update allows for some really cool new features! I can actually download text and images at runtime without having to reupload the world. These are the first set of features using these new possibilitiessa but me and @Silentt are both hard at work on more new exciting things!
- Added system that loads additional info about videos when selected in the database
- Downloads and displays the YouTube thumbnail.
- Downloads and displays YouTube stats, number of: views, likes, comments
- Displays a loading indicator if its still downloading, sometimes you need to wait a few seconds due to VRChat limitations.
- Displays an error if the YouTube video has been taken down.
- Added Message Of The Day system to the spawn mirror
- Displays a message that our staff members set depending on what is going on in the community.
- The message automatically displays above your avatar, to not obstruct your view.
- Also displays an error in case the VRDancing servers are down or you don't have untrusted URLs on.
- Added floor delimiters back to the NullPointer environment, instead they are now hidden in the Director camera.
- Lowered background music volume further.
- Fixed a few more edge cases where audio would behave incorrectly when moving around the world.

FX Studio - v1.0.0
- New Module: DanceVFX Particles
- Spawn particles around you as you enter the dancefloor based on your silhouette.
- Customise tons of different properties of the particles like: colour, gravity, speed, lifetime, rate, etc
- Make the particles audio reactive by using the AudioLink settings.
- Attract or push the particles by holding the orb pickup and adjusting the barrier and attract properties.
- Select from a variety of different presets, got a cool preset? Send me a screenshot of your settings.
- Save up to 8 custom presets and easily swap between them. Syncs for later joiners.
- Enable the preview avatar to easily see what the particles will look like.

- Activate up to 3 individually configurable spotlights.
- The spotlights can be set to smoothly follow specific players.
- Change the colour between red or white.
- Enable the realtime light to make the spotlight affect the floor and your avatar.
- Make the spotlight audio reactive by enabling the AudioLink setting.

- Claim one of 10 slots to get trails assigned to your avatar.
- Decide which trails you want enabled by enabling/disabling them for your feet or hands.
- The trails automatically attach to your avatar without any latency (looks good for other players too).
- Experiment without having to add trails to your avatar in Unity.

Video History & Director QoL
Heyaaa! This is a big one, lots of feature requests! Some tweaks to the Director system that should allow for more creativity. A way to see what videos have been played before. Lots of general polish anndd some fun gimmicks :) Enjoy!
Video History
At the top right of the database is now a "History" button.
This shows a menu with all the videos that have been played so far in the instance.
The history syncs for late joiners, so you can see what has been played before you joined.
It also displays who played the videos and you can directly select the video for more info or to play it again.
It also displays custom URLs, and allows you to replay those.
This menu caps at 100 videos, if more videos are played the oldest entries get deleted.
Director System Updates
Added a greenscreen mode to the director system. This should allow for some additional creativity! This is a local toggle.
Added a "Track Me" mode to the director system. When active the camera always follows you with some smoothing, this is also a local toggle.
Added a Mirror option to the director system which mirrors the camera output, this can be useful for streaming if you want text to be readable and don't want to manually mirror the video in OBS. Also a local toggle.
Added a blocking hologram wall in the main door where people have to accept the rules before entering, this will only be toggled during our main events.
The event rules tablet is now pickupable by everyone again and I added a respawn button for it.
Added a background to the video title on the NullPointer dancefloor.
Added playable Wordle game on the computer at the desk.
Added a whitelist for people that use OSC Body Tracking like @lox9973#8984, This allows you to still play videos even though you're technically a desktop user. DM me if you use this system and want to be whitelisted.
Also maybe secretly some back-end work to get towards a queue system eventually.
Fixed keyboard typing sound endlessly playing.
Fixed a few audio normalisation edge-cases.

- Fixed custom URL volume being affected by the normalised volume of the last played video.

Audio Normalisation
This update tackles another of the most requested features: Audio Normalisation!
@Silentt has been working hard on this with help from Natsumi!
- Added Audio Normalisation!
- The database gets pre-processed, we register how loud a video is and adjust the in-world videoplayer volume accordingly for each video.
- This makes a best effort to make each video equally loud without you needing to constantly adjust your world volume manually.
- Exceptionally loud/quiet videos have been re-encoded and normalised manually.
- This system is on by default but can be toggled off in the options menu, then it will revert to the old behaviour: playing every video as loud as possible
- Celebrate NYE in VRDancing! For each new years celebration in each timezone fireworks will appear after midnight!
- Added posters and banners around the world to announce our 100th session! Design by @Chatmans!
- Added an animation to the logo's on the walls, whenever a song gets played they spin!
- Added a small hologram that appears where the mirror is to indicate to new people that they're about to phase through a one-way mirror.
- Added prevention of the VRC UI laserpointer appearing while on the dancefloor, this issue kept reappearing over the years but now it should definitively be fixed.
- Added a button to instantly clear the search field instead of having to backspace all the way.

Today I'm adding one of the most requested features ever for VRD! I hope you all enjoy!
New search feature!
- At the bottom of the DB you can now switch between a URL menu or a search menu! It defaults to the search menu.
- Click on the search bar, enter your query in the VRChat keyboard, press enter and it'll search!
- You can search for: instructors, artists or song names.
- Searches are **not** case sensitive.
- Added lots of new loading screen quotes.

- Extended DB activation range again to hopefully find a value that works best for everyone.

Stories
Heyaa! With this update we're launching a completely new feature! You're now able to share stories that you experienced within the VRDancing community in our world! At the stairs you can find a new panel that displays all these community submissions! You can submit your own after you earned 150XP over at #📩submit-story! Over the past 2 years I've personally heard a lot of heartwarming, funny, cursed, incredible stories. This is a way to document some of those and share them with each other!
- Added a story panel at the stairs that displays various stories from VRDancing community members!
- Stories switch every minute, the order in which stories get displayed is random.
- This is synced, everyone sees the same story.
- Submit your own in our Discord!
- Added subtle UI to display time, elapsed time and playercount on the video player idle screen (the one with the bouncey logo).

- Added a weather forecast screen, it displays different icons based on the weather outside and it shows the instance time
(the time of the original instance creator, this is what the weather and sun rotation are based on)
- Added a radio system that allows a staff member to boost their voice and be heard everywhere, this should allow us to more clearly communicate with you all as our events continue to grow.
- Added electrical outlets to VRD! Now the janitor finally has no excuse anymore not to vacuum.
- Added ceiling fans! Hopefully this should help prevent the oxygen deprivation incident from happening again.

- Added settings to the Director that allows you to include/exclude cameras from the automatic camera rotation. Use this if you want less than 6 cameras in rotation.
- Reworked credits panel, it was getting a bit too cluttered. The credits now scroll and detailed info of each staff member is displayed (this is synced).
